Lelu launches on PC on January 21, 2027, developed by jamierowan and published by Super Rare Originals and Electronic Sheep Games, with no price confirmed yet. That’s a tidy, specific date with a few months of runway, and it’s exactly what a smaller game needs to build a bit of buzz.

The announcement came with the date front and center, and the store listing is up on Steam, so you can wishlist it today. Wishlists matter more than most people realize for indie releases, so if the game has caught your eye, that’s the easiest way to help it out.
Lelu release date and platforms
Here’s what is locked in: the Lelu release date is January 21, 2027, and the confirmed platform is PC. Having a fixed day this early is a good sign. It suggests the team has a clear picture of where the game stands, and it gives players time to plan around a busy stretch of the calendar.
The PC calendar is already getting crowded, from Nocturnal II to Hokko Spaces. Picking a date in late January, once the holiday rush has passed, looks like a smart move to me. Games that land when everyone has stopped juggling year-end blockbusters tend to get more breathing room.
Who is behind Lelu: jamierowan, Super Rare Originals and Electronic Sheep Games
The developer credit goes to jamierowan, while the publishing side is shared between Super Rare Originals and Electronic Sheep Games. Two publishers on one project is not something you see every day, and it usually means a game has attracted real attention from people who care about distinctive, creator-driven work.
That backing is the most interesting part of this announcement for me. A publisher name can’t promise a great game, but it does tell you somebody with a track record looked at Lelu and decided to put their weight behind it. For a title still a few months out, that’s a reason to keep it on your radar.
What we don’t know about Lelu yet
The price has not been confirmed. Until the developer or publishers share it, treat any number you see floating around as a guess. We’ll keep an eye on the Steam page and update this article if anything changes.
