Basketball Zero Codes: What the Number in Front Actually Means
Seven lists compared October 14, 2026 · Codes Tappalm · About
Nearly every Basketball Zero list prints JOJORETURN and 15JOJORETURN as two separate codes without explaining the difference, so people assume the second one is the bigger version. It is not. The number in front is a wait time in minutes, and the code fails silently until you have played that long. Below are the 4 codes that hold up across seven lists today, which two sources back each one, and why this particular game has the messiest code lists on Roblox.
Basketball Zero codes that work today
| Code | Play first | Reward | Confirmed by |
|---|---|---|---|
JOHNNYRETURN | No wait | 15 Lucky Spins and 50,000 Cash | UrGameTips (Oct 14) and GamesRadar |
15JOHNNYRETURN | 15 minutes | 10 Lucky Spins and 100,000 Cash | UrGameTips (Oct 14) and GamesRadar |
JOJORETURN | No wait | 15 Lucky Style Spins, 15 Lucky Zone Spins and 50,000 Cash | UrGameTips (Oct 14) and Pocket Tactics (Oct 10) |
15JOJORETURN | 15 minutes | 10 Lucky Style Spins, 10 Lucky Zone Spins and 100,000 Cash | UrGameTips (Oct 14) and Pocket Tactics (Oct 10) |
How we checked: on October 14, 2026 we read seven public lists — UrGameTips (updated that same day), Dexerto (October 11), Pocket Tactics (October 10), GamesRadar, Eurogamer, mmoculture and Radio Times. No single list carries all four of these codes, so each row names the two that do. We compare published lists rather than claiming to have redeemed anything on an account of ours.
The number in front is minutes, not spins
This is the single most useful thing to know about codes in this game, and no list we read spells it out. JOJORETURN redeems the moment you paste it. 15JOJORETURN does nothing at all until you have been in the game for fifteen minutes — and then it hands over ten Style spins and ten Zone spins, two fewer of each than the plain version, but 100,000 Cash instead of 50,000.
The expired codes make the rule obvious once you look for it: 30ALIEN, 30NEWYORK, 30THIEF, 30CLAN and 30LEAGUE all wanted half an hour, while 10CHROLLOV2 wanted ten minutes. So a numbered code that “doesn’t work” is usually a code you tried too early.
Codes some lists still show as working
Four codes are still sitting in the active tables of the slower sites. The lists refreshed this week have all moved them to expired, so treat them as gone — they cost nothing to try, but do not count on them.
| Code | Still listed as working by | Already retired by |
|---|---|---|
CHROLLOBDAY | mmoculture and Radio Times | GamesRadar, Pocket Tactics and UrGameTips |
KIRA | mmoculture and Radio Times | GamesRadar and UrGameTips |
15KIRA | mmoculture and Radio Times | GamesRadar and UrGameTips |
15IZURE | mmoculture | GamesRadar and UrGameTips |
Why these lists contradict each other
Basketball Zero does something unusual: it brings codes back. On October 14, 2026, UrGameTips logged that JOJORETURN and 15JOJORETURN had “started working again” after being retired. Dexerto had checked on October 11 and listed both as expired, which was true on October 11. Both sites were accurate on the day they looked; the code simply changed state in between.
That is why we date every source on this page instead of merging them into one list. A code that is dead this morning is not necessarily dead tonight, and a site that never re-checks will keep showing you yesterday either way.
The game title tells you which code is live
The developer renames the Roblox experience to flag the current event. At the time of writing it reads [😈JOHNNY🐎] Basketball: Zero — and the JOHNNY codes are the ones redeeming. The previous name produced the CHROLLOV2 family, now retired. If you open the game and the name has changed since you read this, a new code almost certainly exists and we have not caught it yet, so check the developer’s channels before trusting any list, including this one.
How to redeem Basketball Zero codes
- Open Basketball Zero in Roblox and, if the code carries a number, play for that many minutes first.
- Press the Codes button at the bottom of the screen.
- Type the code into the box exactly as printed. These are case-sensitive and the leading digits are part of the code.
- Press Redeem. Spins and Cash land immediately.
Basketball Zero codes that no longer redeem
These 31 came back retired on October 14, 2026 across the lists that have been refreshed this month: SILVERRETURN, 15SILVER, GOODLUCKV2, CHROLLOV2, 10CHROLLOV2, HAPPY4THJULY, 4THJULY30, NEWYORK, 30NEWYORK, ALIEN, 30ALIEN, THIEF, 30THIEF, NOLIMITED, 30NOLIMITED, CLAN, 30CLAN, LEAGUE, 30LEAGUE, EMPERORREWORK, 15IZURE, IZURE, 15SCARYMONSTER, SCARYMONSTER, 15KIRA, CHROLLOBDAY, KIRA, PERFV2, 15PERFV2, TATLISV2, 15TATLISV2.
Given how often this game revives codes, that list is worth re-trying when an event ends. If one pays out for you, tell us and we will move it back up.
What Basketball Zero is
A five-a-side Roblox basketball game by Current., published on January 3, 2025. Roblox puts it at 1.15 billion visits and 2.24 million favourites, with the last update pushed on October 14, 2026. Styles and Zones — the things that decide whether you can actually score — come out of spins, and spins are what codes pay in.
Spins are free. Everything else is Robux.
Codes never pay Robux, and Robux is what the game charges for its spin bundles and passes. On Android that bill goes through Google Play, and Google Play credit is one of the few things you can genuinely earn rather than buy.
We run TapPalm, the rewards site behind these pages: advertisers pay for finished offers and the balance comes back as a Google Play gift card, from USD 5 in the United States or AUD 10 in Australia. A human checks each payout, so allow up to 14 days for a first one. The honest version of how it works, limits included, is in our Google Play gift card guide.

Three questions. We never ask for your Roblox account.
The other sports game with a hidden rule is Volleyball Legends, where the code box stays locked until level 15. Blue Lock Rivals works the same way this game does — it renames itself after the current event, so the title tells you which code is live. More Roblox lists: Gym League, Driving Empire, Jules RNG and Project Blue Lock.
Basketball Zero codes: questions
What does the 15 in 15JOJORETURN mean?
It is a wait, not a reward. The number in front of a Basketball Zero code is how many minutes you must already have spent in the game before it will redeem. 15JOJORETURN needs 15 minutes of play, and it actually pays out fewer spins than JOJORETURN — ten instead of fifteen — in exchange for double the Cash. The retired codes confirm the pattern: 30ALIEN and 30NEWYORK wanted 30 minutes, 10CHROLLOV2 wanted ten.
What are the working Basketball Zero codes?
As of October 14, 2026: JOHNNYRETURN, 15JOHNNYRETURN, JOJORETURN, 15JOJORETURN. Each one is carried by at least two of the seven lists we read, and the table below names which two, because on this game the lists disagree more than on any other we cover.
Why do Basketball Zero code lists contradict each other so badly?
Because codes here come back from the dead. UrGameTips recorded on October 14, 2026 that JOJORETURN and 15JOJORETURN “started working again” after being retired. Dexerto had checked three days earlier and correctly listed them as expired at that moment. Neither site is wrong; the code changed state in between. Most guides never revisit a code once they bury it, which is how a dead list stays online looking current.
How do I know which Basketball Zero code is current?
Look at the game’s own title on Roblox. The developer puts the active event character in it — right now it reads [😈JOHNNY🐎] Basketball: Zero, which is exactly why the JOHNNY codes are the live ones. When that name changes, expect the matching code to arrive and the previous one to retire.
Where is the code box in Basketball Zero?
Press the Codes button at the bottom of the screen, type the code into the box and press Redeem. Rewards arrive instantly — unless the code carries a number, in which case nothing happens until you have put in those minutes.
Is Basketball Zero the same as Basketball Legends or Project Basketball?
No. Basketball: Zero is made by Current. and launched on January 3, 2025. Basketball Legends, NBA: Heroes and Project Basketball are separate Roblox games with their own codes, and mixing them up is a common reason a perfectly good code gets rejected.
What do Basketball Zero codes give you?
Lucky Spins — split into Style spins and Zone spins — plus Cash. Spins are the only route to the rarer styles and zones, which is why codes matter here more than in most sports games. No code has ever paid out Robux.
