Dead of Darkness 2 is officially heading to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, making it one of the widest day-one platform spreads a survival horror sequel has gotten in a while. No release date or price has been confirmed yet, but the fact that a mid-size horror follow-up is skipping zero major platforms says a lot about how confident the team is in this one, according to Gematsu.

What We Don’t Know Yet
There’s no confirmed release date or price for Dead of Darkness 2 at this point, so anything circulating online beyond the platform list is speculation for now. Expect a follow-up announcement once the developer locks in a launch window.
Dead of Darkness 2 Platforms: Every Confirmed Version
The spread here is genuinely unusual for this genre. Isometric survival horror tends to launch on PC first and pick up console ports later if it finds an audience, but Dead of Darkness 2 is arriving on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC all at once, at least as announced. Including last-gen PS4 and Xbox One alongside current-gen hardware also suggests the engine isn’t pushing anything too demanding, which tracks for a top-down horror game built around tension and resource management rather than raw visual horsepower.
Is Dead of Darkness 2 Coming to Nintendo Switch?
Yes — Switch is one of the six confirmed platforms, which is the detail most likely to surprise fans of the genre. Isometric horror games with heavy atmosphere and lighting work don’t always scale well to Switch hardware, so it’ll be worth watching how the port holds up once gameplay footage or a release date actually drops. If you’re into fresh survival horror announcements in general, Signal Veil is another new entry in the genre worth keeping an eye on.
