Dungeon crawlers usually ask you to trust your teammates. Marked for Mayhem asks you to do the exact opposite. The new multiplayer action dungeon runner has just been announced for PC, and its whole pitch is making your friends’ lives miserable while you race for the top of the leaderboard.
What was announced
Marked for Mayhem is heading to PC through both Steam and the Epic Games Store. It’s a multiplayer action dungeon runner, so you and other players push through dungeons at the same time. The twist is a set of tools called Disruptors, which you use to sabotage the other players while you run.
Beta signups are already open. If you want a shot at early access, get your name in now. We don’t have a release date or pricing yet, so keep an eye on the official channels for updates.
Why the sabotage angle matters
Plenty of dungeon games are co-op, and plenty are competitive, but few put the two in the same run. Here you’re in the same dungeon as your friends, and you’re also actively trying to trip them up.
